James Cameron's AVATAR Full-Length Movie Trailer
Check out the new theatrical trailer for AVATAR starring Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Zoe Saldana, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, and directed by James Cameron.
We finally get an extended look at the movie and I gotta say, it continues to look better and better.
Avatar Synopsis: AVATAR takes us to a spectacular new world beyond our imagination, where a reluctant hero embarks on a journey of redemption and discovery, as he leads a heroic battle to save a civilization. The film was first conceived by Cameron 14 years ago, when the means to realize his vision did not yet exist. Now, after four years of actual production work, AVATAR delivers a fully immersive cinematic experience of a new kind, where the revolutionary technology invented to make the film, disappears into the emotion of the characters and the sweep of the story.
Avatar will be released to theaters on Decembre 18, 2009. Watch the teaser trailer below.

THE LOSERS Cast First Look

A while back I shared the first poster for THE LOSERS, and now take a look at a first photo from the cast featuring Idris Elba, Columbus Short, Chris Evans, Oscar Jaenada, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, thanks to Collider.
THE LOSERS also stars Zoe Saldana, Jason Patric, Holt McCallany, and is directed by Sylvain White.
The Losers is based on the comic book of the same name by Andy Diggle about a Special Forces team, aka The Losers, who are trying to get revenge after being betrayed by their handler, Max, and left for dead.
I read the first volume of the comic book and so far am really enjoying it, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what the movie looks like.
The Losers will be released to theaters on April 9, 2010.

I usually enjoy heist movies, but I think I'll hold off to watch Takers on DVD.

Everyone can finally take their first look at James Cameron's very anticipated new film, Avatar. I was one of the lucky people that got to see the 24 minutes footage at Comic Con back in July, so I was already pretty excited about seeing more. This teaser reminds me of why I was so excited in the first place. I am once again blown away by how real the Na'vi (the blue characters in the trailer) look. You can actually recognize the faces of the actors playing them, it's pretty great.
This is of course a teaser, so they can't show you everything and you don't really hear anyone talk, but I think it gives you a pretty good idea as far as the look of Avatar. So what do you guys think? Are you loving the teaser as much as I am?
Avatar will be released to theaters on Decembre 18, 2009. Watch the teaser trailer below.

AVATAR Movie Poster
Check out a couple of posters for James Cameron's AVATAR starring Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Zoe Saldana, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, and directed by James Cameron.
I've already talked about how excited I am about Avatar, and how much I loved the 24 minutes of footage shown at Comic Con (read the details of the panel here), so I won't repeat myself. But I definitely thought it was worth sharing the two posters from Avatar that have been released.
On the first one, we see Sam Worthington's character, Jake Sully as his Na'vi avatar, and the second one is Zoe Saldana as Neytiri a Na'vi. If you look closely, you definitely recognize their faces and it gives you an idea of what they look like in the movie.
Avatar will be released to theaters on December 18, 2009, but remember that August 21 is "Avatar Day" and your chance to go and see 15 minutes of Avatar at in IMAX and select 3-D theaters (the trailer will also be released online).
For now check out larger versions of the two Avatar posters below.
THE LOSERS Movie Poster

Check out the movie poster for THE LOSERS starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chris Evans, Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba, Jason Patric, Columbus Short, Holt McCallany, and directed by Sylvain White.

I actually just finished reading the first volume of The Losers and couldn't put it down. I think this could make a really good movie (if done well of course), and I have to give them props for some of the casting. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a perfect choice for Clay, and I think Chris Evans could be a great Jensen (my other choice would have been Ryan Reynolds). However, I am not yet sold on Zoe Saldana as Aisha, not that I don't like her, but Aisha is pretty hard core (even more than some of the guys) and I just think Zoe Saldana is too sweet to pull it off, but I hope she proves me wrong.
As for the poster itself, well it's pretty much the characters from the comic book, apart for Roque, who is white in the comic. I think it's a pretty cool way to market the movie. Thanks to A Human Reaction for finding it.
The Losers will be released to theaters on April 16, 2010.
