Check out the trailer for ME AND ORSON WELLES starring Ben Chaplin, Claire Danes, Zac Efron, Christian McKay, and directed by Richard Linklater.
I first heard about the movie last year and posted some pictures as well as a clip from it. As a huge fan of Claire Danes, it of course caught my attention, and I absolutely plan on seeing it. Plus I also like Zac Efron, so it'll be fun to see him in something new.
Me and Orson Welles will be released to theaters this Fall. Watch the trailer below.

Zac Efron to Star in THE DEATH AND LIFE OF CHARLIE ST. CLOUD

After recently dropping out of Footloose, Zac Efron is already in negotiation to star in the adaptation of the novel THE DEATH AND LIFE OF CHARLIE ST. CLOUD about a "caretaker at a cemetery who manages to have weekly meetings with a younger brother whose accidental death he feels was his fault."
The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud will be directed by Burr Steers.

Zac Efron Out of FOOTLOOSE & Amanda Seyfried Out of SUCKER PUNCH

Amongst all the casting news, there had to be some "uncasting" news to come along eventually. And so according to HitFix (via FirstShowing.net), Zac Efron has dropped out of FOOTLOOSE (the remake) apparently Zac Efron decided that he did not want to make another musical right now, and it also seems that he was "incredibly disappointed in the script the studio was trying to fast track into production." I honestly can't say that I am surprised, but now I'm curious who the studio will find to replace him.
As for Amanda Seyfried, she has dropped out of Zac Snyder's SUCKER PUNCH (the casting of which we announced earlier this month). According to EW Amanda Seyfried had to drop out because of scheduling conflict with HBO's Big Love, in which she stars. So far no word on who will be replacing her.
What do you guys think? Are you disappointed by either of these news or do you just not care at this point?
Zac Efron's 17 AGAIN Movie Trailer

The trailer for Zac Efron's new movie, 17 AGAIN, was released. I was expecting to scoff at what seemed to be a ridiculous plot line (Hello, this is BIG in reverse) but I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The movie looks like a fun little comedy that you can easily relate to.
17 Again will be released on April 17, 2009.
Synopsis: About a guy whose life didn't quite turn out how he wanted it to and wishes he could go back to high school and change it. He wakes up one day and is seventeen again and gets the chance to rewrite his life.
