The Invention of Lying Synopsis: In an alternate reality, lying -- even the concept of a lie -- does not even exist. Everyone -- from politicians to advertisers to the man and woman on the street -- speaks the truth and nothing but the truth with no thought of the consequences. But when a down-on-his-luck loser named Mark suddenly develops the ability to lie, he finds that dishonesty has its rewards. In a world where every word is assumed to be the absolute truth, Mark easily lies his way to fame and fortune. But lies have a way of spreading, and Mark begins to realize that things are getting a little out of control when some of his tallest tales are being taken as, well, gospel. With the entire world now hanging on his every word, there is only one thing Mark has not been able to lie his way into: the heart of the woman he loves.

I really enjoyed the trailer that was released not too long ago. And I think the poster looks right in line with the tone of the film.

Ever since seeing the trailer, I've been really looking forward to Whip It!. And this picture is really adorable. I think Ellen Page might win over some more people with this movie.

Check out the trailer for WHIP IT! starring Ellen Page, Drew Barrymore, Juliette Lewis, Marcia Gay Harden, Kristen Wiig, Zoe Bell, Jimmy Fallon, Alia Shawkat, and directed by Drew Barrymore.
I'll be damned, this looks so much better than what I expected after putting up the first pictures (and I was already expecting something good). The trailer almost makes me want to get into roller derby myself. It also looks like Ellen Page is giving another great performance, and the supporting cast looks pretty great as well. Plus as I previously mentioned, this is pretty much an all female cast, which makes it even more exciting.

This could be quite a lot of fun, plus it's rare to have a movie with an all female cast, so double the fun. Check out a few additional pictures below.
