Up in the Air received so many high praises during its screening at the Telluride Film Festival that Paramount decided to release the film earlier than originally planned. Up in the Air will now be released to limited theaters on November 13th and will go wide on November 25, 2009.

I love Jason Reitman's last two movies, Juno & Thank You for Smoking, so I am absolutely looking forward to his next one, Up in the Air. And of course, George Clooney & Jason Bateman are just added bonuses.

The Vintner's Luck is part of the Special Presentations lineup at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival.
The movie has a good cast, who all have pretty good resumes, but I'm not too convinced by the trailer. The whole angel part was a little weird.
The Vintner's Luck Synopsis: Set in early 19th century France The Vintner's Luck tells the compelling tale of Sobran Jodeau, an ambitious young peasant winemaker and the three loves of his life—his beautiful and passionate wife Celeste, the proudly intellectual baroness Aurora de Valday and Xas, an angel who strikes up an unlikely friendship with Sobran. A fantastical creature with wings that smell of snow, Xas turns out to be an unconventional mentor. Under his guidance Sobran is forced to fathom the nature of love and belief and in the process, grapples with the sensual, the sacred and the profane—all in pursuit of the perfect vintage.

Another horror movie that I'll let you judge for yourself. This might be one of the few movies Peter Sarsgaard stars in that I will skip.
