Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND New Poster #3 and Full Banner
The third part of the theatrical banner poster for Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND has finally been released. We also finally get a first peek at the Caterpillar (played by Alan Rickman), which is one of my favorite characters in the story.
Alice in Wonderland Synopsis: From Walt Disney Pictures and visionary director Tim Burton comes an epic 3D fantasy adventure ALICE IN WONDERLAND, a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time. JOHNNY DEPP stars as the Mad Hatter and MIA WASIKOWSKA as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen’s reign of terror. The all-star cast also includes ANNE HATHAWAY, HELENA BONHAM CARTER and CRISPIN GLOVER. The screenplay is by Linda Woolverton. Capturing the wonder of Lewis Carroll’s beloved “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” (1865) and “Through the Looking-Glass” (1871) with stunning, avant-garde visuals and the most charismatic characters in literary history, ALICE IN WONDERLAND comes to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D™ on March 5, 2010.
Alice in Wonderland also stars Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Sheen, Stephen Fry.
Alice in Wonderland will be released to theaters on March 5, 2010. You can see the full third poster and banner (click for a larger version) below. You can also watch the trailer here.

Alice in Wonderland is definitely one of the movies I am the most excited for in 2010. I don't think anybody could have done a better job at creating the crazy world that is wonderland except Tim Burton and the teaser trailer definitely shows how amazing it looks.

9 Comic Con 2009 Panel

During the Comic Con 2009 panel for 9, the director Shane Acker, Tim Burton, Timur Bekmambetov, Elijah Wood, and Jennifer Connelly were all there to talk a little bit about this new animation movie.
We got to see the trailer again, which had already been released previously, but I think I actually enjoyed it more than the first time around. And we also got to see a clip from the movie, which actually got me interested in seeing more.
Here are some of the highlights from the panel:
- The director Shane West used the term "Stitchpunk" to define sort of retro futuristic world that 9 takes place in.
- In the movie, in order for characters to find out who they are and why they are here they need to find out about the humans and what happened to them.
- 9 is based on the Shane West's short film.
- Elijah Wood & Jennifer Connelly both got interested in the movie after receiving a package explaining what it was all about and seeing the short.
- Elijah Wood on his process to get into a character said: "I can't even talk technique, I don't even know what it means."
- Timur Bekmambetov gave us an update of Wanted 2. The good news is: it's happening and James McAvoy will be back. Timur Bekmambetov also teased that they are trying to revive Fox (played by Angelina Jolie in the first one).
- Unfortunately, Timur Bekmambetov doesn't think the "Day Watch" film trilogy will happen.
9 comes out to theaters on September 9, 2009 (9/9/09 - how perfect is that?!). In the meantime, check out more pictures from the 9 Comic Con 2009 panel below.

Mia Wasikowska in ALICE IN WONDERLAND Pictures
This morning I posted some pretty incredible pictures from Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND, and now we have a look at two pictures featuring Mia Wasikowska, as well as a closer look at Tweedledee and Tweedledum played by Matt Lucas, thanks to Movies.ie.
The more I see from the movie, the more excited I am.

Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND Pictures of Johnny Depp & more...
Check out some of the first pictures released from Tim Burton's re-imagining of ALICE IN WONDERLAND by USA Today.
We not only get to see some new gorgeous concept art pictures, we finally get a first look at Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as The Red Queen, and Anne Hathaway as The White Queen. These are so trippy and so Burton-like, I am beyond excited for this movie. If there was ever a director that could capture the bizarre world of Alice in Wonderland it is definitely Tim Burton.
The concept art you can see above is Alice leaving the talking & singing roses to find the talking, hookah-smoking caterpillar (at least that's what happens in the Disney movie).
Alice in Wonderland will be released to theaters on March 5, 2010.
Check out The Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), The Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter), and The White Queen (Anne Hathaway) below, as well as more concept arts showing Tweedledee and Tweedledum and The White Rabbit (click on the concept arts for bigger versions).
Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND First Pictures

The first pictures from Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND have been published in D23, Disney's magazine.
And it wasn't long before the scans hit the internet. Thanks to The Tim Burton Collective (via FirstShowing.net), we get a first look at Mia Wasikowska (as Alice) looking down the rabbit hole (above), as well as some concepts from the Mad Hatter tea party table (Happy Unbirthday!).
For those who don't know Mia Wasikowska, she was in the HBO series In Treatment, and was absolutely brilliant. And I think we can expect great things from her.
In addition to her, the cast of Alice in Wonderland also includes Johnny Depp (The Mad Hatter), Anne Hathaway (The White Queen), Helena Bonham Carter (The Red Queen), Alan Rickman (Caterpillar), Crispin Glover (The Knave of Hearts), and Stephen Fry (The Cheshire Cat).
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland will be released to theaters on March 5, 2010.
Check some of the concepts below. And just for fun, I added a clip from the "Unbirthday Party" scene from Disney's Alice In Wonderland.
