DEFINITELY WATCH AT THE MOVIES

This is Will Smith, so that pretty much means you have to see it at the movies. And the trailer looks intriguing.

THE TALE OF DESPEREAUX New Pictures
Check out some new pictures from THE TALE OF DESPEREAUX, which comes out to theaters on December 19th.
How adorable is that mouse?! The Tale of Despereaux is #18 on our Top 20 Christmas Movies, that means it's definitely a movie you will want to check out. It's especially great for the whole family. I think I might hold off on seeing it because it might be geared a little too much towards children, but who knows I might change my mind on December 19th, especially with the spirit of Christmas in the air.
Don't forget to watch the trailer The Tale of Despereaux.

Twilight is the #1 Christmas Movie of 2008 because...do I even need to say it? Didn't you hear all those screaming fans over at Comic Con during the Twilight panel? And even if I wasn't screaming, I am as excited about the movie. Plus I am a big fan of Catherine Hardwicke's films. I just love her style of filmmaking. Her previous films include Thirteen and Lords of Dogtown. And don't even get me into how good the book is. Twilight is definitely #1 this Christmas. |

THE TALE OF DESPEREAUX (2008) - Movie Trailer

Title: THE TALE OF DESPEREAUX

Plot: The tale of three unlikely heroes - a misfit mouse who prefers reading books to eating them, an unhappy rat who schemes to leave the darkness of the dungeon, and a bumbling servant girl with cauliflower ears - whose fates are intertwined with that of the castle's princess. (Source: imdb.com)
Release Date: 19 December 2008
Thoughts: Animation movies always look really cute, but that doesn't mean that the story always follows. Even though The Tale of Despereaux looks very well done, I think I'm going to hold off until it comes out on DVD. I have a feeling this one is going to be a little too much for the kids and not enough for the adults.
