Movies Coming Out This Weekend March 27 2009
Wondering what movies are coming out to theaters this Friday, March 27? Here is a list with our recommendations (which you can take or leave, it's up to you).

DEFINITELY WATCH AT THE MOVIES
Monsters vs Aliens
It seemed that Monsters vs Aliens' March release was so far away, I cannot believe it's already here. And of course that means that I am hyped up to go and watch it.

The Mysteries of Pittsburgh (Limited)
I recently posted the trailer for this and was really psyched to go and watch it. Although I probably will have to wait a week for it to be released in LA on April 4th. This week it will be released in New York.

Little Ashes (Limited)
Robert Pattinson before Twilight, come on I gotta see this! But more seriously, I posted the trailer a while back and was really intrigued by the movie, it looks like some great acting there.

DEFINITELY RENT
Goodbye Solo (Limited)
I just found out about this movie, and from the looks of the trailer I think I might enjoy it, although I am waiting to hear a little more about it. (Goodbye Solo opens in New York and Chicago this week.)

The Education of Charlie Banks (Limited)
I am curious about checking out The Education of Charlie Banks, but I think my plate is pretty full this week, so it might have to be a rental.

HELL WILL FREEZE FIRST
The Haunting in Connecticut
Oh look another horror film that I won't be seeing.

12 Rounds
Well, the casting pretty much killed it for me. But I'm sure some people will totally love it.

Actor of the Day: JON FOSTER
JON FOSTER
Next in: The Mysteries of Pittsburgh coming out March 24 (limited theaters), and The Informers coming out April 24 (limited theaters).
The Buzz: Jon Foster might be Ben Foster's little brother, but he has build a career all of his own. I first noticed Jon Foster in the short-lived TV show, Life As We Know It and since then I have followed everything else he has done. In each new project he pushes himself as an actor, and I think that he is one to watch out for.
THE MYSTERIES OF PITTSBURGH Trailer

Check out the trailer for THE MYSTERIES OF PITTSBURGH starring Jon Foster, Peter Sarsgaard, Sienna Miller, Nick Nolte, Mena Suvari, and written & directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber.
The screenplay is based on the 1988 Michael Chabon's best-selling novel.
I have liked Jon Foster (brother of Ben Foster) ever since I saw him in the TV show, Life As We Know It. And now, it seems that he's growing as an actor in each movie he does. Keep an eye out for this one.
As for Peter Sarsgaard, well we already know I love everything he does.
I am also pretty impressed by the trailer. For a movie that I hadn't heard of before, it sure looks really good.
The Mysteries of Pittsburgh will be released to limited theaters on March 27, 2009. Watch the trailer below.
