New DVD Releases for the Week of September 1 2009
Here is a list of the new DVD Releases for the week of September 1 2009, as well as my intentions to buy, rent, watch on TV, or skip (for TV on DVD releases head over to Daemon's TV):

Earth
Synopsis: The first film in the Disneynature series, "Earth," narrated by James Earl Jones, tells the remarkable story of three animal families and their amazing journey across the planet we all call home. "Earth" combines rare action, unimaginable scale and impossible locations by capturing the most intimate moments of our planet's wildest and most elusive creatures. Directors Alastair Fothergill and Mark Linfield, the acclaimed creative team behind the Emmy Award®-winning "Planet Earth," combine forces again to bring this epic adventure to the big screen.
Cast: James Earl Jones
Director: Alastair Fothergill and Mark Linfield
Recommendations: I didn't get to catch Earth in theaters, but I've been meaning to see it, so it's going into my Netflix list.
Buy it: EARTH on Amazon (also available on Blu-ray
)
Movies Coming Out This Weekend April 17 2009
Wondering what movies are coming out to theaters this Friday, April 17? Here is a list with our recommendations (which you can take or leave, it's up to you).

DEFINITELY WATCH AT THE MOVIES
17 Again
Yeah, so I totally think Zac Efron is entertaining to watch. And this actually looks fun. What better way to relax on a Friday or Saturday night after a long week of work.

STATE OF PLAY Movie Trailer (2009)

Watch the trailer for STATE OF PLAY, a new movie starring Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Robin Wright Penn, Jason Bateman, Helen Mirren, Maria Thayer, Jeff Daniels, and directed by Kevin Macdonald.
I gotta say, the trailer looks pretty good, plus I'm always in for a good conspiracy movie. And State of Play is on our Must See Movies List of 2009, so needless to say that I will be checking it out.
Also, State of Play is actually based on a BBC mini-series of the same name, which I have on my Netflix list right now (I might have to move it up the list in order to see it before that movie comes out).
State of Play comes out to theaters on April 17, 2009. Check out the trailer below.
