Malin Akerman & Ryan Phillippe Cast in THE BANG BANG CLUB
Malin Akerman and Ryan Phillippe were cast in THE BANG BANG CLUB, a new movie directed by Joao Silva and set in South Africa during the apartheid.
Steven Silver wrote the script based on the memoir by Greg Marinovich about the Bang Bang Club, a group of four war photographers who captured the final days of the apartheid on photographs.
Ryan Phillippe will star as Marinovich, one of the photographers of the Bang Bang Club, along with Taylor Kitsch, who will play Kevin Carter.
As for Malin Akerman, she will play the photo editor of the Bang Bang Club.
I'm sold. Great cast, what sounds like a great story with an independent feel. Definitely looking forward to a trailer.
