Tom Hardy Does Not Want To Be Mel Gibson

Tom Hardy is terrified about following in Mel Gibson's footsteps. The 'RocknRolla' actor has been repeatedly linked with taking on the role first made famous by the 'Braveheart' star in new movie 'Fury Road', and although it isn't totally confirmed that he has the role, Tom is already preparing for the film - but admits he is worried about appearing to mimic the Australian star.
He said: "It's strongly coming in my direction. I would be preparing for that role. "The Mad Max figure is a big figure, and I have to get my head around that. I would have to pick up where Mel left off, but in all honesty, it would be ridiculous to pick up where Mel left off. He is Mad Max. I have to bring something entirely different and new to the stage."
