Bryce Dallas Howard to Replace Rachelle Lefevre in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE

Summit Entertainment announced that they would be replacing Rachelle Lefevre, who plays Victoria, in the third movie of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, by none other than Bryce Dallas Howard (Terminator Salvation, Spider-Man 3, The Village).
This is apparently due to a 10 days scheduling conflict, although Rachelle Lefevre and Summit have both released statement that seem a little contradictory. It honestly looks like Summit wanted to change the actress portraying Victoria, for whatever reason.
I personally am kind of excited about this news because Bryce Dallas Howard is one of my favorite actresses, so I'm behind whatever she does (although I have nothing against Rachelle Lefevre). I am now even more excited for the third movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which comes out on June 30, 2010, and I honestly think that Bryce Dallas Howard will surprise more than a few by her performance.

Her Character: Victoria, James (Cam Gigandet)' mate who assists him in finding Bella.
Why we like her: She has tremendous acting experience but has never had an opportunity to make it shine like we know she can. She has the uncanny ability to portray strength and vulnerability at the same time. We hope to see more of her in the near future.
Biography:
Lefèvre was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of her father, an English teacher, and her mother, a psychologist. She speaks both English and French. She studied creative arts at Dawson College, studied theater for two summers at the Walnut Hill School in Natick, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, and began a degree in education and literature at McGill University.
