RACHEL GETTING MARRIED Movie Pictures (2008)

Rachel Getting Married - Anne Hathaway

Check out pictures from Anne Hathaway's latest movie, RACHEL GETTING MARRIED, getting released on October 3rd (limited in New York and Los Angeles).

I am really looking forward to seeing Anne Hathaway take on an addict role. She usually doesn't really play anything that dark (although her character in Havoc was pretty dark as well). Rachel Getting Married really feels like one of those independent movies that I usually enjoy.

Synopsis: Rachel Getting Married is a contemporary drama with an aggressive sense of humor about the return of an estranged daughter to the family home for her sister's wedding. Kym's (Hathaway) reemergence throws a wrench into the family dynamics, forcing long-simmering tensions to surface in ways both hilarious and heartbreaking. Rachel Getting Married paints a colorful, nuanced family portrait and is filled with the rich characters that have always been a hallmark of Jonathan Demme’s films.

Rachel Getting Married - Anne Hathaway and Rosemarie DeWitt

Check out the trailer for Anne Hathaway's new movie, RACHEL GETTING MARRIED, which will be released on October 3, 2008.

I just enjoy watching Anne Hathaway so much that most of the time I don't really care what the movie is about. She has grown so much as an actress and this movie is definitely a change for her.

In Rachel Getting Married, Anne Hathaway plays an addict who has been in and out of rehab for the past 10 years. She returns home to be at her sister's wedding, but it looks like things don't really go that smoothly.
