Mira Nair has done so many wonderful movies including Mansoon Wedding, Salaam Bombay! and Vanity Fair, that it should come as no surprise that I am really looking forward to her latest one, Amelia.
And now thanks to People.com (via /Film), we get our first look at the movie, which follows the relationship between famed aviatrix Amelia Earhart (Hilary Swank) and her husband George Putnam (Richard Gere).

Alice in Wonderland is definitely one of the movies I am the most excited for in 2010. I don't think anybody could have done a better job at creating the crazy world that is wonderland except Tim Burton and the teaser trailer definitely shows how amazing it looks.

I never get tired of seeing those, but I just wish we didn't have to wait so long to see the full movie.

Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND First Pictures
The first pictures from Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND have been published in D23, Disney's magazine.
And it wasn't long before the scans hit the internet. Thanks to The Tim Burton Collective (via FirstShowing.net), we get a first look at Mia Wasikowska (as Alice) looking down the rabbit hole (above), as well as some concepts from the Mad Hatter tea party table (Happy Unbirthday!).
For those who don't know Mia Wasikowska, she was in the HBO series In Treatment, and was absolutely brilliant. And I think we can expect great things from her.
In addition to her, the cast of Alice in Wonderland also includes Johnny Depp (The Mad Hatter), Anne Hathaway (The White Queen), Helena Bonham Carter (The Red Queen), Alan Rickman (Caterpillar), Crispin Glover (The Knave of Hearts), and Stephen Fry (The Cheshire Cat).

Mia Wasikowska in Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND (Pictures)
INF has gotten their hands on the first pictures of Mia Wasikowska on the set of Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND.
Alice in Wonderland has always been an interesting story to me, and although most people think of the Disney movie, I think that having Tim Burton take the original story and put his own spin on it is going to be really great.
Plus Mia Wasikowska as Alice is a great choice. For those who don't know her, you can see Mia Wasikowska in HBO's original series, In Treatment, in which she absolutely blew me away. I cannot wait to see what she and Tim Burton create.
For those who don't know, Johnny Depp will play the Mad Hatter and the film will be released in 3D.
