I've been really interested in checking out The Burning Plain ever since I saw the trailer. The movie comes out on September 18, 2009, but if you have DirecTV, you can get it On Demand right now.

Even though The Informers has a pretty impressive cast, so far I haven't heard great things about it. I think I'll still check it out anyway.

Check out the trailer for THE BURNING PLAIN starring Kim Basinger, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, J.D. Pardo, Joaquim De Almeida, Brett Cullen, and directed by Guillermo Arriaga.
This is Guillermo Arriaga's feature film directorial debut based on his own script. He previously wrote the scripts for Babel and 21 Grams among others.
I really liked 21 Grams, Babel not so much, but I do like the style of Arriaga's writing. So I'm interested in checking it out.
