The fear many of us had when it was announced Jim Carrey would play Ebenezer Scrooge and other parts in Robert Zemeckis' adaptation of A Christmas Carol was that Carrey's clowning would turn the story into a goofy farce. This is the first clip released from the movie and all I can say is wow, this looks incredible. The visual effects for the movie are taking animation to a whole new level. The details of the face of Scrooge are beautiful. I couldn't believe my eyes.
I honestly wasn't too excited about this movie, but after seeing this clip, I cannot wait for the movie to come out.
