I posted the first trailer for In the Loop back in March, but I think this trailer is even funnier than the first one, so I had to share.
I will most likely be catching this movie at the LA Film Festival later this June (which I will talk about more in a couple of days), so stay tuned for a review. In the meantime enjoy the trailer below.

In the Loop Synopsis: IN THE LOOP is drawing instant comparisons to some of the great political and absurdist comedies such as DOCTOR STRANGELOVE, WAG THE DOG, THANK YOU FOR SMOKING and MONTY PYTHON. The film is a smart comedy with razor-sharp, truly laugh-out-loud dialogue that pokes fun at the absurdity and ineptitude of our highest leaders. With everyone looking out for number one, and the fate of the free world at stake (but apparently incidental), the hilarious ensemble cast of characters bumbles its way through Machiavellian political dealings, across continents, and toward comic resolutions that are unforeseeable.

Check out some pictures from Spike Jonze's WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE that were released on USA Today.
After posting the poster a few days ago, it's really exciting to get a look at some images from the movie. In most of them we see the main character Max (played by Max Records) along with the creature, Carol (voiced by James Gandolfini). We also get a first look at Catherine Keener as Max's mom.
Where the Wild Things Are is based on Maurice Sendak's classic children's story about a young boy named Max who, after being sent to bed without supper, imagines a mysterious, wild forest in his bedroom. There he encounters mythical creatures, the wild things.
Where the Wild Things Are comes out to theaters on October 16, 2009. I don't know about you, but I'm excited.

In The Loop was at Sundance earlier this year. I haven't heard anything about the movie, but after watching the trailer, I think it looks fun.
