Ryan Reynolds Wants THE GREEN LANTERN To Get Inspired From Iron Man

Ryan Reynolds wants The Green Lantern to take inspiration from Iron Man. The actor says the forthcoming movie looks into why his character Hal Jordan becomes a superhero and says he hopes producers show off the characters roots as well as Iron Man told the story of inventor Tony Stark.
He said: "I think you walk away from this first film, and the moments that you remember and the moments that mean so much to you, not unlike 'Iron Man,' are the moments where the guy's not in the suit. "That to me is the tough thing to get right. And that's something that they did get right in 'Iron Man'. You see why this guy's in the suit, and that's what's interesting to me. DVD Review: IRON MAN Ultimate 2-Disc Edition

IRON MAN was just released on DVD and Blue-ray disc and if you haven't gotten your copy yet, then what are you waiting for?
Seriously, this DVD is a must have. I don't usually buy that many DVDs (I'm more of a renter), but Iron Man is one of the DVDs I must own. If only to watch the brilliant performance of Robert Downey Jr. over and over again.
One of my favorite movies of the summer and probably one of the best Comic Book adaptation to date, Iron Man is just perfect in every way. And if you haven't seen the movie yet, this is your chance.
I'm not going to expend too much on how good the movie is, because it was successful enough that it doesn't need anymore praise from me.

Review: IRON MAN (2008)

The Story: Let me start by saying that I have never read an Iron Man comic book, and to be honest I wasn't expecting too much from the movie, mostly because I have been disappointed in the past (need I remind you the disaster that was Spider-Man 3?). But Iron Man was beyond good, it was great! The story took not only the time to build up the characters and make us care about them, it was consistent. Tony Stark doesn't change his personality after being kidnapped, he is still the same character but with a different outlook about what his company does.
The Cast And Crew: I don't think there are any words to explain how brilliant Robert Downey Jr. was as Tony Stark/Iron Man. I don't think there could have been a better casting.
