I think this is the first time we see Sam Rockwell up close (apart from the trailer shown at Comic Con). Although there isn't much going on this the picture, it's still fun to check out.

IRON MAN 2 New Picture of Robert Downey Jr.
Check out a new picture of Robert Downey Jr. in IRON MAN 2 that was just released by Marvel. Nothing too exciting, but I thought some of you might be interested in checking it out.
In the picture Tony Stark is looking at a model of Stark Expo, which is apparently related to the central mystery of Iron Man 2, requiring Tony to look into his father's past.
Iron Man 2 comes out to theaters on May 7, 2010.
IRON MAN 2 Comic Con 2009 Panel
Hall H filled up to its maximum for the very anticipated Comic Con 2009 panel for IRON MAN 2. This is understandable especially since we were shown the very first footage from the movie, which looks amazing beyond words. You thought Robert Downey Jr. was good in Iron Man, well let me tell you he steps it up once more.
Amongst the people on the panel were Kevin Feige, Jon Favreau, Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, and Sam Rockwell. The panel was highly entertaining with some really fun answers from the panel.

Scarlett Johansson in IRON MAN 2 New Picture
Check out a new picture of Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow in IRON MAN 2 that Yahoo! Movies just released.
In this picture, Scarlett Johansson seems to be wearing the costume for her character's alter ego Natasha Romanoff, who's Tony Stark's new assistant, compared to the one she wore on the first picture we saw of her as the Black Widow.

Take a look at the first picture of Scarlett Johansson in full costume as the Black Widow in IRON MAN 2 that will be featured in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly.
Scarlett Johansson plays Natasha Romanoff aka the Black Widow, who is hired as Tony Stark's new assistant after Tony's former assistant Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) is promoted to CEO of Stark Industries.
I think I like that look for her, actually it took me a minute to recognize her, and I hope that she's going to bring it to Robert Downey Jr.'s level in the movie.
Iron Man 2 will be released to theaters on May 7, 2010 and I cannot wait.
Mickey Rourke as Whiplash in IRON MAN 2 First Picture
Check out the first picture of Mickey Rourke as Whiplash in IRON MAN 2 that was released today by USA Today.
Mickey Rourke will portray the new villain facing Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). In the picture you can see that he seems to be wearing the same power device that Iron Man wears. Jon Favreau explained:
The villain's alter ego, Ivan Vanko, is a Russian who "has constructed his own version of a suit," Favreau says.
This picture of Mickey Rourke shows Whiplash at the Monaco Historic Grand Prix. However details of the story a being kept under wraps.
Iron Man 2 will hit theaters on May 7, 2010.

Thanks to USA Today, we finally get more of Tony Stark aka Robert Downey Jr.
Jon Favreau is also back behind the camera and if number 2 is as good as number 1 was, I think we're in for a treat.
Favreau told USA Today that the movie "takes place six months after Tony Stark revealed his identity as Iron Man, and the development is playing out with unexpected results."
"How many superheroes are open about their true identities?" he asks. "We wanted to play with that idea. But it obviously has consequences — in his relationships, on the team. There are a lot of areas we can explore."
Iron Man 2 is scheduled to be released on May 7, 2010.
Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow in IRON MAN 2?
Since we're on the subject of IRON MAN 2, Scarlett Johansson will replace Emily Blunt as the Black Widow in Iron Man 2.
According to Nikki Finke, Emily Blunt had to drop out "because Fox exercised an option that the studio had from The Devil Wears Prada to make her do the upcoming film starring Jack Black, Gullivers Travels."
I don't know about you, but it feels like I see Scarlett Johansson in every single movie lately. Are there no other actresses around? It's starting to be really hard getting into movies she stars in because I keep thinking "this is Scarlett Johansson playing so and so" instead of actually watching the character.
So right now I'm not sure how I feel about this casting news.

Mickey Rourke Cast in IRON MAN 2
Mickey Rourke has been cast in IRON MAN 2.
According to Nikki Finke, Mickey Rourke's agent David Unger has secured a better deal for him than previously offered by Marvel, and so Mickey Rourke has finally signed on to Iron Man 2. He will be playing a Russian villain.
I know everybody has been talking about Mickey Rourke lately, but I really think that he's a great choice for a villain.
Funny story, I was talking to my dad before the Oscars and mentioning that Mickey Rourke had been nominated a lot and won quite a few awards for his latest film. He then said "Oh yeah, I've always liked Mickey Rourke, he's a great actor. It's too bad he's not in more movies." I couldn't agree more.
