Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS Posters
Three really cool posters for Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS (not spelled Inglorious Bastards) have been released. After checking out the trailer, these posters are definitely getting me excited even more. Thanks to Empire, we get to take a look at all three new posters.
Inglourious Basterds comes out to theaters August 21, 2009.
Brad Pitt joins the cast of Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS
It's official now, Brad Pitt has joined the cast of Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS (Not Inglorious Bastards, ha!). He will play Lt. Aldo Raine, "the head of the Jewish resistance in the auteur's World War II film."
In addition, Simon Pegg is now in negotiation to join the cast as well.
Pitt's character is a Southern rebel who leads a band of eight Jewish American soldiers as they exact vengeance on Nazis in German-occupied France.
Pegg would play a British lieutenant. Krumholtz's part would be that of a member of Pitt's team.
Other cast members so far include Eli Roth and B.J. Novak.

B.J. Novak to star in Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS
B.J. Novak (Ryan in NBC's The Office) is in talks to star in Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS (Not Inglorious Bastards, ha!) as PFC Utivich, a soldier from New York, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
I think I would get a kick out of seeing B.J. Novak in something different than The Office. Plus what a better way to get exposure than to star in a freaking Quentin Tarantino movie, right?
Inglourious Basterds is scheduled to start filming in the Fall in Europe.

Eli Roth in Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS
Director Eli Roth (Hostel) might be cast in Quentin Tarantino's INGLORIOUS BASTARDS (Not Inglorious Bastards, ha!) as Sgt. Donnie Donowitz, a "a baseball bat-swinging Nazi hunter", according to Variety.
In addition, Brad Pitt is also in talks to play Aldo Raine, the "leader of a rogue band of Jewish-American soldiers who wreak havoc on the bad guys in Nazi-occupied France."
I don't know about you, but this movie sounds more and more interesting to me. Plus this is how my brain works:
Eli Roth kind of looks like Zachary Quinto (Heroes, and soon Star Trek) + Zachary Quinto is a great actor = Eli Roth will be great in Inglorious Bastards.
It's that simple!
Quentint Tarantino should have his final cast soon.
