Watch a new TV spot for THE LOSERS which stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Columbus Short, Oscar Jaenada, Jason Patric, Holt McCallany, and is directed by Sylvain White.
The Losers Synopsis: Members of an elite U.S. Special Forces unit are sent into the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. The team--Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar --find themselves the target of a lethal betrayal instigated from inside by a powerful enemy known only as Max. Presumed dead, the group makes plans to even the score when they're joined by the mysterious Aisha, a beautiful operative with her own agenda. Working together, they must remain deep undercover while tracking the heavily-guarded Max, a ruthless man bent on embroiling the world in a new high-tech global war.

THE LOSERS Cast Photo/Poster

Check out a new cast photo/poster for THE LOSERS, that Hero Complex got their hands on recently.
This is the live version photo of the cast which copies the earlier poster that was released (which is really the cover of the comic). Now the interesting thing is that they switched around the characters of Aisha (Zoe Saldana) and Clay (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and put Aisha front and center even though it's Clay who is the main character of the story (could this have anything to do with Zoe Saldana's new found popularity from Avatar?...). Although I do have to say that photo looks pretty cool.
However, after watching the trailer, I am sorry to say that it seems they totally changed the story from the comic book, which is unfortunate because it's a pretty great story. So I'm afraid we might have another Hollywood cliche/formula-type movie on our hands. I can only [...]

Check out these two new photos from THE LOSERS, that Omelete got their hands on.
The Losers stars Idris Elba, Columbus Short, Chris Evans, Oscar Jaenada, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Jason Patric, Holt McCallany, and is directed by Sylvain White.
I have read the first volume of The Losers comic book and have to get through the other four, but so far I think it has the potential to be a good movie, if and only if the script is of equal quality. So I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low in between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case.

A while back I shared the first poster for THE LOSERS, and now take a look at a first photo from the cast featuring Idris Elba, Columbus Short, Chris Evans, Oscar Jaenada, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, thanks to Collider.
THE LOSERS also stars Zoe Saldana, Jason Patric, Holt McCallany, and is directed by Sylvain White.
The Losers is based on the comic book of the same name by Andy Diggle about a Special Forces team, aka The Losers, who are trying to get revenge after being betrayed by their handler, Max, and left for dead.
I read the first volume of the comic book and so far am really enjoying it, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what the movie looks like.

I usually enjoy heist movies, but I think I'll hold off to watch Takers on DVD.

I actually just finished reading the first volume of The Losers and couldn't put it down. I think this could make a really good movie (if done well of course), and I have to give them props for some of the casting. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a perfect choice for Clay, and I think Chris Evans could be a great Jensen (my other choice would have been Ryan Reynolds).
