A new international trailer for HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE has been released.
And of course after watching it, I'm even more upset that the released date was pushed back to July 17, 2009.

Inkheart
Movie Synopsis: A young girl discovers her father has an amazing talent to bring characters out of their books and must try to stop a freed villain from destroying them all, with the help of her father, her aunt, and a storybook's hero.

In the worst news category, here's one, Warner Bros has just announced that they were moving HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE release from November 21 2008 to July 17 2009.
The reason is attributed to the writer's strike:
“Like every other studio, we are still feeling the repercussions of the writers’ strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films -- changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of,” said Alan Horn, prexy and chief operating officer of Warner Bros.
The fact that Warner Bros also wanted to strengthen its summer 2009 releases is also suggested as a reason for the move.

Check out another new picture from HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE. I especially wanted to put that one because it features Jim Broadbent as Prof. Slughorn, and I just think he is such a talented actor, I cannot wait to see him in the movie.

Thoughts: This is THE movie that I look forward to year after year, and now that there are no more books, I am even more excited to watch the 6th movie. Oh and the trailer exceeded my expectations so much. That young Voldermort is so freaking creepy, they really hit the nail on the head with Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, he must have had a good teacher, his uncle perhaps... Ralph Fiennes.

Take a look at the first pictures that FirstShowing.net has just unveiled, released by USA Today from the HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE trailer.
At the top we can see a young Voldemort, played by Ralph Fiennes' (who plays the older version of Voldermort) real-life nephew, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin. I guess we all know how he got the part...
And director David Yates can deny it as much as he wants:
"The fact that he's related to Ralph wasn't the primary reason for choosing him. It was an advantage that he looked very similar to Ralph. Of course that was useful. But primarily I went for Hero because of this wonderful haunted quality that seemed to bring Tom Riddle alive on-screen for us."

Cinematical and MTV Movies Blog each have new HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE pictures.
We can now see Ron in his quidditch outfit, as well as Luna Lovegood (I just love that character). This all just makes me wish there were going to be more books coming out.

USA Today has a first look at some new picture from HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE.
This is one of my favorite Harry Potter books, along with "the Goblet of Fire" (#4), so needless to say I am really excited about this one... oh who am I kidding I am exciting about any Harry Potter movie, it's the movie I am looking forward to the most (along with Twilight this year).
Although I try to stay away for videos and too many pictures (I want to discover everything when I go see the movie), these ones looked too good to pass up and how cool is it that Jim Broadbent is joining the cast?! Check out four more pictures below.
