New York I Love You poster

Check out the trailer for NEW YORK, I LOVE YOU, which has a similar format to Paris, Je t'aime.

The movie is a compilation of short films, which all take place in New York. Each short film has a different director and cast. It's definitely a film I would want to see, because I usually enjoy this type of short film format.

Directors include Fatih Akin, Yvan Attal, Allen Hughes, Shunji Iwai, Wen Jiang, Shekhar Kapur, Joshua Marston, Mira Nair, Natalie Portman, Brett Ratner, and Randall Balsmeyer.
And the cast includes Bradley Cooper, Shia LaBeouf, Natalie Portman, Blake Lively, Justin Bartha, Orlando Bloom, John Hurt, Hayden Christensen, Christina Ricci, Rachel Bilson, Robin Wright Penn, Ethan Hawke, Anton Yelchin, Maggie Q, James Caan, Olivia Thirlby, Cloris Leachman, Andy Garcia, Drea de Matteo, Chris Cooper, Julie Christie, Jacinda Barrett, Eli Wallach, Eva Amurri, Burt Young, Qi Shu, and Irrfan Khan.

New York, I Love You will be released to limited theaters on October 16, 2009. Watch the trailer below.

New York, I Love You Synopsis: A collaboration of storytelling from some of today's most imaginative filmmakers and featuring an all-star cast. Together they create a kaleidoscope of the spontaneous, surprising, electrifying human connections that pump the city's heartbeat.

The Education of Charlie Banks Poster

Check out the trailer for THE EDUCATION OF CHALIE BANKS starring Jesse Eisenberg, Jason Ritter, Chris Marquette, Eva Amurri, Sebastian Stan, Gloria Votsis, and directed by Fred Durst (yes, that Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit).

I'm actually curious to see how Fred Durst did as a director, especially since the trailer doesn't look half bad.

The Education of Charlie Banks will be released in limited theaters on March 27, 2009. Watch the trailer below.

The Education of Charlie Banks Synopsis: Charlie Bank's (Jesse Eisenberg) sheltered world at his Ivy League campus is shaken when Mick (Jason Ritter), an old acquaintance with a violent past, unexpectedly shows up at his dorm room. Intrigued by Charlie's privileged lifestyle, the charismatic Mick quickly wins over Charlie's friends and his crush, Mary (Eva Amurri) as he seamlessly integrates himself into Charlie's life. Unnerved yet also in awe of Mick's easy charm, Charlie's unresolved feelings of jealousy, admiration and fear — as well as an unspoken secret between the two — threatens to come to a head with ruinous consequences.
