THE ROMANTICS Movie Photo with Malin Ackerman & Katie Holmes

Check out a photo for THE ROMANTICS which stars Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Anna Paquin, Adam Brody, Malin Ackerman, Elijah Wood, Candice Bergen, Jeremy Strong, Dianna Agron, and is directed & written by Galt Niederhoffer.
The movie was a late addition to the Sundance Film Festival schedule, which takes place January 21-31. The cast looks pretty incredible and I'm definitely interested in checking it out.
The Romantics Synopsis: In The Romantics, seven close friends—all members of a tight, eclectic college clique—reconvene at a deluxe seaside wedding to watch two of their own tie the knot. Lila is the golden girl preparing for her dream wedding, and Laura is Lila's maid of honor. Once college roommates, Laura and Lila have been best friends since their first meeting on campus, but Lila's groom, Tom, is the man they have long rivaled over. 9 Synopsis: 9 takes place in a world parallel to our own, in which the very legacy of humanity is threatened. A group of sapient rag dolls, living a post-apocalyptic existence find one of their own, 9 (Elijah Wood), who displays leadership qualities that may help them to survive.
I found the trailer and story for 9 very interesting and can't wait to see it in theaters on September 9, 2009. That's why I thought I would share some posters for the film that look really great. Check some more below.

9 Comic Con 2009 Panel

During the Comic Con 2009 panel for 9, the director Shane Acker, Tim Burton, Timur Bekmambetov, Elijah Wood, and Jennifer Connelly were all there to talk a little bit about this new animation movie.
We got to see the trailer again, which had already been released previously, but I think I actually enjoyed it more than the first time around. And we also got to see a clip from the movie, which actually got me interested in seeing more.
Here are some of the highlights from the panel:
- The director Shane West used the term "Stitchpunk" to define sort of retro futuristic world that 9 takes place in.
- In the movie, in order for characters to find out who they are and why they are here they need to find out about the humans and what happened to them.
- 9 is based on the Shane West's short film.
