Thanks to Collider, we can take a look at some pictures from the film. As for the trailer, it looks pretty dark and twisted. I'm not sure it's something for me. Although Michael Shannon is a pretty great actor.

My Son My Son What Have Ye Done Synopsis: Inspired by true events, My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done, is a story of ancient myth and modern madness. Brad Macallam, an aspiring actor performing in a Greek tragedy, commits the crime he is to enact in the play by killing his mother. The mystery unfolds in a series of flashbacks displaying the psychological destruction of the killer set off by an ill-fated white-water kayaking trip in a distant land.

Back in April I posted a few pictures from The Killing Room and was definitely intrigued by the synopsis.
Now after watching the trailer, I think it's definitely something I would rent. It makes me think a little bit of Cube (which is a really great film you should check out), where the characters need to outwit the people behind the glass, although in this one we actually know how they got there in the first place, and we see the people behind the glass. Thanks to Quiet Earth for finding the trailer.
The Killing Room will be released straight to DVD on August 17, 2009. Watch the trailer below.

I always enjoy those psychological movies and this seems to be a great cast as well. Now I want to find out what these people really signed up for in the movie. Unfortunately, there is no US release date for The Killing Room yet.
