This trailer definitely shows more than the first teaser that was released (thanks to Filmonic for finding it). In addition to Logan Lerman, this time we also get a peek at Pierce Brosnan as Chiron, Rosario Dawson as Persephone, Brandon T. Jackson as Grover, Alexandra Daddario as Annabeth, and Sean Bean as Zeus (although this last one is just a glimpse).
I think I like the trailer, and it looks like the movie definitely has some potential. Although it's worth seeing if only to check out the amazing cast.

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE New Movie Trailer

This one features some new scenes that we hadn't seen in the first trailer. Ever since seeing a few clips at Comic Con, I have been really looking forward to the movie, and this trailer reminded me why. It looks great.

I really didn't expect to see anything from the movie this soon, but this is really exciting. The director behind the first two Harry Potter movies is taking on the next big series of books, Percy Jackson and the Olympians. So far I have read the first three books and really like them.
That teaser looks way better than what I expected. Logan Lerman so far looks like a really great Percy, but I already thought he did when his casting was announced. We don't see Alexandra Daddario, who plays Annabeth, in the teaser, so we still don't know how they are going to pass off a 23 year old for a 12 year old. I just hope they don't change the story too much otherwise this could turn out to be the new "Eragon" (which did really bad at the box office, because unfortunately the movie was nowhere as good as the book), instead of the new "Harry Potter."

Catherine Keener will play Percy Jackson's mother, who tries to protect her son from knowing the truth about who he is.
Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief is the first book in the series written by Rick Riordan about Percy Jackson, a half-blood (half-human, half-god) son of Greek God Poseidon, who goes on a quest to prevent a potential war between the Gods.
The rest of the cast includes Pierce Brosnan, Uma Thurman, Sean Bean, Kevin McKidd, Melina Kanakaredes, and Logan Lerman.

Spike Jonze's WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE Movie Pictures
Check out some pictures from Spike Jonze's WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE that were released on USA Today.
After posting the poster a few days ago, it's really exciting to get a look at some images from the movie. In most of them we see the main character Max (played by Max Records) along with the creature, Carol (voiced by James Gandolfini). We also get a first look at Catherine Keener as Max's mom.
Where the Wild Things Are is based on Maurice Sendak's classic children's story about a young boy named Max who, after being sent to bed without supper, imagines a mysterious, wild forest in his bedroom. There he encounters mythical creatures, the wild things.
Where the Wild Things Are comes out to theaters on October 16, 2009. I don't know about you, but I'm excited.
