BURIED - Sundance Movie Review

I originally wasn't sure whether I would be able to go see BURIED, because it might have been too much for me (I mean it's a guy in a coffin for 90 min). But after hearing so many good things about it, I decided to suck it up and go see it. Well, let me tell you, it was an amazing film, an effed up one, but amazing. I'm not even sure this is a film you like or dislike, it's more of something you experience with every part of your body.
The premise is simple enough, Ryan Reynolds plays Paul Conroy, a truck driver working in Iraq who wakes up to realize that he has been buried alive. BURIED Teaser Movie Trailer with Ryan Reynolds

Check out the teaser trailer for BURIED which stars Ryan Reynolds and is directed by Rodrigo Cortes.
That looks like it's going to be a fantastic performance from Ryan Reynolds, but it's way too tortured for me to be able to stomach it. Part of me is curious about it though, so you never know, if it gets a lot of positive buzz I might have to suck it up and go see it.
Buried Synopsis: A U.S. contractor working in Iraq awakes to find he is buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone it's a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap.

This sounds like such a great concept and if done well, could be a really great film, but I'm not sure if I could stomach watching someone buried alive for a full movie. That's just too much for me.

BURIED Movie Pictures with Ryan Reynolds

Check out a couple of pictures for BURIED starring Ryan Reynolds and directed by Rodrigo Cortés.
Buried's story revolves around probably one of the worst ways to die: being buried alive. I know it's at the top of my list. Ryan Reynolds plays a man, Paul Conroy, who wakes up to find he is buried alive in a coffin, with only a cell phone and a lighter. The movie is pretty much a one man show revolving around Paul trying to get out alive. Thanks to Twitch, we get our first look at Ryan Reynolds in the coffin (as you can see above), as well as him and director Rodrigo Cortés below.
It sounds like a really interesting and original movie, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to stomach the whole thing. It sounds really disturbing. I think I might need to see a trailer before making up [...]
