Surrogates Synopsis: FBI agents (Bruce Willis and Radha Mitchell) investigate the mysterious murder of a college student linked to the man who helped create a high-tech surrogate phenomenon that allows people to purchase unflawed robotic versions of themselves –- fit, good looking remotely controlled machines that ultimately assume their life roles -– enabling people to experience life vicariously from the comfort and safety of their own homes. The murder spawns a quest for answers: In a world of masks, who’s real and who can you trust?

We had a chance of attending the Kevin Smith Panel at Comic Con this year and while he did not show us any clips from the movie, he seemed really excited about this and was very hopeful that it would pretty well. (Check out the Kevin Smith Comic Con 2009 Panel Videos)
A Couple of Dicks is a comedy about two cops whose adventures include locating a stolen baseball card, rescuing a woman, and dealing with gangsters and their laundered money.

A lot of people who have seen The Assassination of a High School President are praising it as something really great and so I was kind of curious to see the trailer. I have to admit that the trailer is not all that exciting to me, but I still want to see the movie because it so many people seem to like it.

The Assassination of a High School President Synopsis: Forget it, Jake. It's...high school. With its noir roots, this stylish dark comedy pays homage to Roman Polanski's Chinatown. Mischa Barton plays the young femme fatale, while Bruce Willis is an unhinged principal.

Bruce Willis might have done it again, Surrogates actually looks like it could be a pretty good action movie. And the concept is pretty original. As my friend said, the surrogates are the lazy man's ultimate way of life. That is true, but since it is a Bruce Willis movie, something has got to wrong, so the surrogates might not be the answer after all. Expect tons of explosions.
