Almost as soon as Adrienne gets to Rodanthe, a major storm is forecast and Dr. Paul Flanner arrives. The only guest at the inn, Flanner is not on a weekend escape but rather is there to face his own crisis of conscience. As they travel cross country in a series of adventures and misdventures, they air old grievances about thirty year old betrayals and learn the music's still in them.

Watch the First 5 Minutes BLINDNESS (Video)

I decided not to watch anything since I am planning on seeing it over the week-end, but for those of you who can't wait, you can watch the video below.
BLINDNESS Movie Pictures (2008)
Here are some new pictures of Julianne Moore's new movie, BLINDNESS, directed by Fernando Meirelles, the director of City Of God.
One funny thing about the characters in this movie: they have no name per say. So for example, Julianne Moore is the Doctor's Wife and Mark Ruffalo is The Doctor. I am curious to see how that is going to turn out on screen.
Also, shout to Danny Glover, who is the narrator in this movie and happens to look really cool in these pictures. Go Danny! (Update: Apparently, Fernando Meirelles has dropped the Danny Glover narration.)
In the meantime, look at more Blindness pictures, including one of Gael Garcia Bernal.

Thoughts: This is a new trailer for Blindness (after the first one released) and I must say that I am even more excited to see this movie now. The concept is great and the cast is brilliant, and you can see the style of Fernando Meirelles shine through in the trailer already. Now I know for sure that I will check this out at the movies.

Thoughts: First of all, I don't know anything about the book, so in a way that might be a good thing because I am not expecting anything from the movie. Second, the cast looks amazing. And third, I always find these types of "epidemic movies," where there is no explanation, intriguing, especially if they are well done. So far, it's hard to tell if this will be one of the good ones, but it doesn't look too bad, so I will probably check it out.
