CADILLAC RECORDS Movie Trailer
The trailer for CADILLAC RECORDS was just released. I wanted to say that I am going to see it at the movies but after watching what someone considered to be the best parts of Beyonce's performance, I highly doubt that I will go see it at all. Someone should tell her the truth and spare us the misery of having to watch her trying to show feelings on camera.
Synopsis: In this tale of sex, violence, race, and rock and roll in 1950s Chicago, “Cadillac Records” follows the exciting but turbulent lives of some of America’s musical legends, including Muddy Waters, Leonard Chess, Little Walter, Howlin’ Wolf, Etta James and Chuck Berry.

MTV just released a first look at CADILLAC RECORDS which includes Emmanuelle Chriqui as Revetta Chess, Beyoncé Knowles as Etta James, Jeffrey Wright as Muddy Waters, Adrien Brody as Leonard Chess, Gabrielle Union as Geneva Wade, Mos Def as Chuck Berry, Cedric the Entertainer as Willie Dixon.
I am really curious to actually see a trailer for the movie because it seems to be very musically driven. But I do have to admit that I really disappointed that they decided to put Beyonce as Etta James in the movie. How many bad performances on her part do we need to be subjected to until they realize she should just stick to singing.
I am however looking forward to seeing Mos Def, he is just brilliant.
Cadillac Records is scheduled to be released on December 5, 2008.
