Not too long ago I posted a look at the first picture from Antichrist and now we have the first trailer (thanks to FirstShowing.net).
The first picture was already pretty, how can I put it... interesting (as you can see above). Actually I think it gives a pretty good idea of what the trailer is like. But to be honest, I'm not a big fan of Lars Von Trier. Now granted I haven't seen all the movies he has done, but the ones I did see I always ended up hating the main characters, and rooting for the villain... and I don't think that's supposed to happen. But who knows I might actually enjoy this one.

Lars Von Trier's ANTICHRIST First Picture

The first picture from Lars Von Trier's new movie ANTICHRIST, starring Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg, has been released.
Thanks to Empire, we get our first look at a pretty explicit picture.
Lars Von Trier describes Antichrist as a "psychological thriller / horror" film. The story follows a couple mourning the loss of their child, who retreats to a cabin in the woods, where they soon encounter strange, terrifying occurrences. Other sources also add that Wilem Dafoe's character is a therapist helping his wife deal with her grief, and that when the grief runs wild, things start to get weird. And after seeing that picture above, I can definitely believe that.
In fact, I have seen my share of Charlotte Gainsbourg in some weird films like Lemming (which I am still trying to get out of my head), and since I am not usually a big fan of Lars Von Trier either, not [...]
