And another year of the Academy Awards has come and gone by. Now all that's left to do is go see all the movies that have won Oscars if you haven't had a chance to yet.

81st Academy Awards Nomination (2009)
It's finally this time of the year (doesn't seem like the last Oscar nominations were just a few months ago?!), and this morning the nominations for the 81st Academy Awards have been announced.
There are some surprises (to me at least) like Colin Farrell not getting nominated for In Bruges, but overall I can't say that I was that surprised or excited by this year's nominations. All that's left for me to do now is catch up on all the movies that I haven't seen yet before the ceremony on February 22.
