Once again, we are coming back with the list of the top 10 Christmas movies of 2009. Our 2008 Christmas movie list previously had some really good movies and this year is no different.
In order to be comprehensive, we once again decided to include movies starting in November because for us, Christmas always start a little early. Whatever you do, make sure you catch at least a few of these.
So without further ado, here are the Top 10 Christmas Movies we are looking forward to in 2009.

This is a definite must watch movie for this year. I know some people criticize Roland Emmerich but after hearing him speak and seeing clips of the movie at the 2012 Comic Con 2009 panel, I am really excited to see the final product.

We got to see a whole new trailer for 2012 during its Comic Con 2009 panel, which was pretty incredible. We also got to see an additional clip (which according to Roland Emmerich was only 70% done) of the start of the end end of the world in California as John Cusack's character is rushing to save his family and everything is crumbling around him. As far as disaster movies go, this one looks pretty incredible. There are some unbelievable visuals. It's definitely going to be fun to watch.
Amongst some of the highlights from the panel, Roland Emmerich announced that this would be his last disaster movie. He also mentioned that his next project would be The Foundation series by Isaac Asimov, which would be a sci fi movie. He is currently working on that and trying to get a script ready.

After getting a teaser trailer a while back, we finally get to see a full trailer for 2012.
I'm a fan of disaster movies, even though they're pretty freaky if you think about it. And the trailer for 2012 looks pretty awesome. If only for the cast it's worth checking out.

I don't know about you but disaster movies like that always kind of freak me out. Just seeing the water rising like that gives me chills. Can you imagine if that happened in real life? Freaky! Then again you wouldn't have much time to ponder on that would you?
The cast of 2012 includes John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Thandie Newton, Woody Harrelson, Danny Glover, Johann Urb, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Oliver Platt.
I'm waiting to see more, but with a cast like that, I think it's very likely that I'll go see it.
