Former Bionic Woman Michelle Ryan Cast in TURNOUT

Michelle Ryan has signed on to appear in the micro budget film “Turnout.” The film will be directed by Lee Sales and will begin filming in east London next month.

The story follows a man, George Russo, who decides to try and turn a quick buck with a drug deal. However, when the deal goes south he loses everything in the process: his girlfriend (Jaime Winstone), his money, and his friends. The film has been described by executive producer Leo Pearlman as a twisted love story. Co-producers DP Films and Fulwell 73 Productions managed to secure 100% private financing for the film which will be shot for less than £1 million and is scheduled to take only three and a half weeks to film. Once shooting is complete, the production companies will seek out distribution partners.

Ryan started out as the star of the UK soap opera “EastEnders,” and went on to star on the cancelled “Bionic Woman” on NBC.
