Jean-Pierre Jeunet's MICMACS A TIRE-LARIGOT Teaser Trailer

Micmacs a tire-larigot Poster

Check out the trailer for MICMACS A TIRE-LARIGOT starring Dany Boon, André Dussollier, Nicolas Marié, and directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

I just love Jean-Pierre Jeunet's directing style and Micmacs a tire-larigot definitely has a Delicatessen-like feel, which I love. And Dany Boon is playing the main character, this is great!

Thanks to Quiet Earth for finding the teaser.

Micmacs à tire-larigot will be released to theaters in France on October 28, 2009. Watch the trailer below (it's in French and even though they don't say much, I translated what is said if you're curious).

Micmacs à tire-larigot Synopsis: A mine that explodes in the middle of the Moroccan desert and, years later, a lost bullet goes into his brain... Bazil is not very lucky with weapons. The first one made him an orphan, the second one can make him die suddenly anytime.
When comes out of the hospital, Bazil finds himself on the street. Luckily, this sweet dreamer is picked up by a band of scavengers with endless aspirations and with talents as eclectic as they are unexpected, who live in a real Ali Baba's cave: Remington, Calculette, Fracasse, Placard, la Môme Caoutchouc, Petit Pierre and Tambouille.
One day, when he walks in front of two imposing buildings, Bazil recognizes the logo from two arms makers that are responsible for his misfortune. With the help his of "gang," he decides he's going to get revenge.
Alone against all, small ingenious against big cynical industrialists, our scavengers perform with an imagination worthy of Bibi Fricotin and Buster Keaton. (Translated from Allocine.com)
