M. Night Shyamalan's THE LAST AIRBENDER Teaser Movie Trailer

As a huge fan of the original animated show, I'm not as excited as I thought I would be, which is weird because I usually love M. Night Shyamalan's movies.
I guess my problem with the teaser is that, while the opening sequence is pretty cool, I'm not sure they have captured the essence of Aang. In the teaser he seems very self-confident and really powerful, whereas in the show he has to build up to it. Although he is powerful at air bending, even that is still a work in process as we get through the seasons.
That said, I am kind of excited to see a longer trailer, because let's face it, a teaser is supposed to tease you and doesn't really show much.
The Last Airbender will be released to theaters on July 2, 2010. Watch the teaser trailer below.
The Last Airbender Synopsis: Based on the Nickelodeon animated TV show, 'Avatar: The Last Airbender', the story follows the adventures of Aang, a ten year old successor to a long line of Avatars, who must put his childhood ways aside and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations.

i'm confused... what is this movie suppose to be exactly? a retelling of book 1?? call me crazy but i'm pretty sure the majority of us have seen it.
