MACGYVER Becomes A Feature Film

New Line is developing the series MACGYVER as a feature film.

With all the remakes lately and Hollywood running out of original ideas, I guess this shouldn't come as too big of a surprise.

I used to watch MacGyver as a kid, but I really don't remember much except that MacGyver, played by Richard Dean Anderson, seemed to always be able to get away from bad situations by using whatever he could find around him, now that was cool.

As for a feature film, well they are going to have to find a good replacement for Richard Dean Anderson, because it's going to be hard seeing someone else in the part.

And of course, they need to come up with a kick ass script too. So far no writer is attached.
