This is a definite must see movie of 2009 because it redefines the myth of Robin Hood and it has Russel Crowe as the “new” Sheriff of Notthingham AND Robin Hood (I know, crazy). If Russell can bring the depth of Gladiator’s Maximus to the character, I think we are all in for a treat. Synopsis: A love triangle forms between the legendary do-gooder Robin Hood, his Maid Marian and the archer’s arch nemesis, the Sheriff of Nottingham. |

Robert Zemeckis + Jim Carrey (as Ebenezer Scrooge) equals Christmas movie 2009 gold. I would be interested to see how this animated version will fare with the modern special effects. Definetely a must see movie for all the folks, young and old, that loved the original. |
