First Picture of Brad Pitt in Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS

Empire has released the first picture of Brad Pitt in Quentin Tarantino's next movie, INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS (and not "Inglorious Bastards", yes it's a correct misspelling).

Brad Pitt plays Lt. Aldo Raine, the leader of a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as 'The Basterds who are chosen specifically to spread fear among the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis.

Quentin Tarantino has described Inglourious Basterds as "his take on a spaghetti western, even joking that he might title the film 'Once Upon a Time in Nazi-Occupied France'."

With such a solid cast that includes Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, B.J. Novak, Diane Kruger, Samm Levine, and Daniel Brühl, I think we can expect greatness.

Inglourious Basterds is set to be released in June 2009.
