Thoughts: Well, this is #3, so that's already an indication that we shouldn't have our hopes too high. Second, no Rachel Weisz or John Hannah, another bad sign. And finally, no Stephen Sommers, who directed the first two Mummy movies. I was a huge fan of The Mummy, liked the second one ok, but I have a feeling that the third one will not be anything more than a paycheck movie. I most likely won't go and see it at the movies, but maybe I'll rent it when it comes out.
Edit: So turns out that John Hannah is in the movie after all (thanks Carole for pointing it out), which makes me a little more excited about it.

John Hannah is on it! I saw him on the trailer (et you wrote it in the cast list). Rob Cohen is not a bad director, I think.
Good point Carole, I didn't even notice him in the trailer. OK so I removed John Hannah as a reason why it might not be great and actually if he is in the movie, then I might be a little more excited about it.
