IN BRUGES - A Must See Movie

Once in a while, you go and watch a film which you know virtually nothing about and that film ends up being one of the best movie you have seen all year. That's what IN BRUGES is.

When I went to see it this is what I knew about it: It's about two killers sent to Bruges after a job. And where is Bruges? Belgium. And boy was I in for a surprise.

First of all, Colin Farrell delivers what is probably one of his performances. Seriously, I barely recognized him, the character he portrays is so different from anything I have ever seen him. Now I am looking forward to his next film.

The story is very simple, but brilliant at the same time. I don't want to give much away because I think you will enjoy it so much more if you go in sort of "blind." But I will tell you this, it's a dramedy that leans towards the comedy side.

And, for the Harry Potter movies fans, here is a treat for you, three out of the four main actors were in one of the Harry Potter movies.

To conclude, if you only see one movie this month (and have already seen all the Oscar nominated movies) then go and see In Bruges.
